Got impatient and went in like Call of Duty with the fire extinguisher in the daylight. A rev turned to a click, and there's that damn horn again. I fucking panic and dive into it and start just fucking slamming that screwdriver in there. As I carry the last item to the bed of the Ruscko, merely 10 ft away from freedom, the Ruscko starts slowly moving back. Parking brake, always use the fucking parking brake. I go grab it, and on my way back to toss this one last item in the back it dawned on me. I remember one last item, the gas can I left up by the white shed. Got a perfect thing going, got the Ruscko painstakingly running, backed it up to the boat, was throwing everything into the back. I see people do a full-on dunk and the car is fine. Honestly watching past videos, it doesn't seem like you can use water on the wasps anymore without destroying the car. Literally had a chance, but through the pitch black it was impossible to navigate.ĭiscovered the hard way that the Ruscko needs gas now, and that the gas can spawns empty nowĭipped the Ruscko in the lake too much with the tractor and fried it. Lost the ability to see shit because nightfall happened and I didn't grab a flashlight. Not gotten to the store in time and narrowly survived the night after the pub closed with all my needs turning red. This part right here I've fucking lost so many game hours to. From there I headed to get the Ruscko on boat since apparently that's the best beginner land vehicle(.or at least was.) I took the boat to town, got a fire extinguisher and filled up the gas can, then headed back to the boat. The absolute most success that I've had, which actually didn't come from any particular guide, I was just throwing random shit from other guides at the wall to see if I could get there quicker. ![]() How do you get your foot in the door at a reasonable pace? I've followed a few guides and even the newer ones seem an update behind. Look, I don't expect to be building the Satsuma literally anytime soon, nor do I see that going particularly well, but I'd imagine I'd have enough starter resources or at least some direction to not die day 1. I'm finding a lot of outdated guides and long time players complaining the games too difficult now. So far, I love everything about it and the whole idea, but the beginning is a bit rough, and seemingly because of newer "up"dates. I wanted to experience the magic for myself so a couple days ago I grabbed the game on steam.
